"Retain has been life-changing. Before your systematic, step-by-step approach, I did know many of these things were important, but didn’t know how to connect them into a system and would quickly abandon my efforts.  I don’t exaggerate by saying that you’ve given me hope that I can build my business back stronger than ever before."

What do we cover?

The Retain framework is broken down into 5 sections. Within each section, we have various chapters. Think of these as micro-frameworks.

Within each micro-framework, I introduce the concept behind the micro-framework, I talk about why this is important to us as video professionals, and then I go on to talk you through the exact steps that you need to take in order to get this built into your business.

By the end of the book, you'll have built a powerful retention system that will allow you to convert your one-off projects to long-term contracts that are full of profit.

Section 1: The Retain Framework
We start off by learning The Retain Framework in detail and setting ourselves up for success by looking at The Retain Success Loop.
Section 2: Foundation Training
Then we move into the foundation training, where we touch upon the foundational training that is required within the Train, Gain, Obtain and Frame stages of The Retain Success Loop.
Section 3: Frame
We then develop our expert positioning, so we can position ourselves as the expert and earn that seat at the table with our client.
Section 4: Retain
Then we move into the Retain stage of The Retain Success Loop and learn the exact steps that we need to take in order to Track & Report the Return On Investment of our client’s content. We develop our proactive pitches, everything that we need to do when it comes to managing and growing accounts and then finally how we develop our case studies to win more retained contracts.
Section 5: Building For Growth
We finish off by looking at how we identify and build for growth.

About The Author

Coming From Experience
Tim started his video business from his grandmother's spare bedroom with nothing more than a camera and a dream.

Within the space of a few short years that little company had grown.

The company outgrew its offices four times, employed 33 full-time members of staff, was the UK's leading production company, was working with brands such as Adidas, Nike & Yves St. Laurent, and was valued at over $20m.

Today Tim consults with many of the world's biggest brands on their video marketing strategies and teaches video production professionals simple, but powerful marketing, sales and retention strategies.

But life hasn't always been so rosy.
Black Box Thinking
When his bank withdrew a £500k credit line (almost $700k), the business that Tim had built from scratch to being the UK's leading production company went into liquidation.

What followed was a year of pain, embarrassment and depression.  But then Tim read a book - Black Box Thinking by Matthew Syed.

Tim knew that if he found the courage to learn from his mistakes, he would be able to build back strong.  And that's exactly what he did.

After making a promise to his wife, Tim reviewed everything.  Every minute detail of his business.  But also every minute detail of the video production industry.
Building Back Stronger
From that review, Tim developed three key systems that allowed him to build back stronger than ever.He developed a simple marketing system, a simple sales system and a simple retention system.  When he started to see the results, he knew that he could have a huge impact on the industry that he loves.

He started to teach his frameworks to video production professionals around the world and has now published these strategies into three books; The Lead Generation Machine, Conversion 90 and Retain.

Tim also now consults with brands and organisations such as Shell, The International Olympic Committee and Unilever (to name a few) on their video marketing strategies.
